Agnes Kertes Ganami, Kolka and Bjarni.
Icelandic Kennels Clubs autumn show was this weekend and we participated as usual.
Kolka did well, was BOB with CAC and CACIB and then she was third best in group one after Australian Shepherd (first place) and German Shepherd (second place).
We can now apply for Icelandic Champion title and Kolka only needs one CACIB for the International Champion title.
Judge was Agnes Kertes Ganami and she gave Kolka this review:
Good quality bitch. Excellent outline. Good head + body proportion. Correct length of body. Breed typical. Good in texture + coat. Good tail carrige. Excellent mover with long steps. Excellent.
Preperations for this autumn show was extensive. We went to the World Dog Show in Sweden last summer to get a better perception of how the breed is shown and groomed and then we took a course in handling with Marc Linnér who is a renowned handler. Marc showed us the basics in good handling which was extremely useful.
